Makaregatorna is one of Gothenburg's most fascinating areas, shaped by Dutch influence in the 1600s. The city's largest Dutch community lived here, leaving marks in the street layout and building history. Walking Drottninggatan and Kyrkogatan we study façades, alleyways and courtyards that reveal past crafts, commerce and daily life. A tour filled with urban development and human stories.
